Registration of representation
Foreign companies or organizations operate in Ukraine through separate offices (branches, branches). Open offices of foreign companies in Ukraine are subject to mandatory accreditation. The representative office of a non-resident company does not have the status of a legal entity and does not conduct independent commercial activities.
Foreign missions registration procedure
Registration of foreign companies is carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine. Accreditation documents are submitted no later than six months after they are issued in the state of residence of a foreign company. After accepting the registration documents, the applicant receives bank details to pay the state duty.
As a result of the review of the package of documents, the Ministry of Economic Development decides whether to register a representative office of a foreign company or refuses to open it. The Ministry of Economic Development – like any central authority – is known for its passion for refusals on formal grounds. Thus, the elementary inaccuracy in the payment of the state duty – can result in a refusal to register the office. A certificate of registration of representation is issued to a foreign company, which indicates: a serial number in the register of representations; The official name of a foreign company; Number of foreign employees; location of the office and its branches.
If the non-resident’s office conducts commercial activities in Ukraine on behalf of the company, it is registered with the GFS body by its location.

An application with a request to register a representative office. The application is made in an arbitrary form.

Information about communications (phone and telefax number);

Number of foreigners who will work;
